Upstream Access is requesting immediate emergency funding to respond to the rapidly growing extreme heat crisis impacting disabled community members and older adults across our region. Over the past four weeks alone, they have distributed nearly 100 heat-related emergency kits, and by June 16th, their current supply will be nearly exhausted.

The Hertel Center serves as a critical community resource, providing food assistance, rent and utility assistance, personal care items, and other essential services to individuals and families experiencing hardship throughout Washington County.
