Jefferson County
Request: $11,800
2026 Jefferson County wildfire and smoke response. Jefferson County Public Health is seeking support for current wildfire smoke response efforts and to strengthen the county’s ability to deploy emergency supplies where they are needed most.
The request focuses on immediate wildfire smoke needs, evacuation support, geographically isolated communities, and maintaining essential operations if power disruptions occur. Supplies will help:
Keep cleaner-air locations operating
Maintain eight air scrubbers already deployed in the community
Expand access to household air filtration
Provide youth-sized masks and bottled water
Support evacuation sites and cleaner-air spaces if power outages occur
Improve access to emergency information and basic first-aid supplies
Build a county-managed equipment library that can be maintained and redeployed during future emergencies
Distribution and deployment will prioritize Camp Sherman, Three Rivers/Lake Chinook, Culver, Metolius, Ashwood, and other areas identified through response activities and partner coordination.
