Eleven counties currently impacted by wildfire: Baker, Crook, Deschutes, Grant, Harney, Jackson, Malheur, Union, Umatilla, Wallowa, and Wheeler.

We want to supply box fan filters to improve air quality for smoke impacted people. We are working with local red cross organizations, fire districts, county emergency managers. We are the local trusted technical expertise and can provide education on building these fans. We would like to have 100 box filter fans available in each of the 11 counties. We have $6,000 but need a total of $33,000. We can stage from our local Extension offices (we have an office in each county) and our faculty can coordinate distribution. We will either use the instructions attached to build the fans ourselves, or provide a handout with each kit.
