Therefore, we are retrofitting our current facility and adding a community resource center that is ADA accessible as a public meeting or training space to serve seniors, people with disabilities, and residents with mobility limitations to participate in safety, health, and preparedness programs.

Jackson County Community Long Term Recovery Group requests $30,000 in bridge funding to sustain staff and operating expenses that support Rogue Valley Community Organizations Active in Disaster, RV COAD. RV COAD staff support member organizations before disasters by providing training, tools, planning support, partner coordination, and shared resources.

We have leads on used water tenders from other fire districts, and would love to find a new or nearly new vehicle that could be customized to fit our particular need, rugged gravel roads, steep forest roads with little access or egress. Without the Prospect RFPD, the nearest fire response would be 30–45 minutes away, placing the community at even greater risk.
