We are seeking funding for a new set of tires for a wildland fire engine. We patrol the West Oregon District daily, protecting landowners' properties and values at risk. Our firefighters experience a ton of exposure hours while driving, and having an engine out of service prevents us from assisting other districts around the state.

Our firefighters drive daily, usually around 6 hours a day patrolling the district. When we are unable to staff even one engine, we lose staffing and the ability to send firefighters to other parts of the state to assist with other districts' fires.
