Request: $30,000
We are currently using a microgrant of $5000 to help distribute materials for ~150 folks to assemble emergency bags (including first aid, cold weather protection, household plans, water and sanitation safety, and other survival gear), receive cold weather first aid training, and participate in a supply swap to continue redistributing supplies to make sure more of our community has access to what is needed to survive or be prepared in case of a disaster. If funding allowed, we have the capacity, relationships, and community engagement to offer resource fairs like this more often (at least quarterly if not every other month).
