Adair RFPD is a small rural fire department dedicated to the service of our community, neighboring communities, and the state of Oregon at large. We provide fire and EMS services to our district and mutual aid partners. Adair RFPD is an active participant in statewide conflagrations during wildfire season and throughout the year. We are requesting funding for two radios, which will improve communications in radio "shadowed" spots. Communications is a primary reason for poor outcomes when situations go badly. We would be able to add more Zones with additional channels. The attached quote is for radios with superior range.
