Following the Silver Rail shooting in Bend, we are requesting funding to:
Expand our secure storage device distribution. We currently distribute high-quality biometric lock boxes to healthcare clinics, and we will be expanding this work to school districts across Oregon, who can then provide them to parents in need.
Bring FIPE, our free one-hour, physician-led health class presentation, to more high schools. Firearms are the leading cause of death for ages 1-19, yet Oregon high schools provide virtually no firearm injury prevention instruction.
Grow our trauma-informed care and civic engagement pathways for youth who have experienced gun violence.
