The requested items are not part of the capital or operation budgets. Each item supports fire fighters and emergency medical staff. The fire district is 110 square miles, and the medical service district is nearly 1,000 square miles.
If funded, any of the following items would assist La Pine Fire is serving 22,000 residents and visitors:
1000 feet of 5 inch hose $9,500 for 1000 feet or $950 per 100 feet
Portable/mobile radios Portables $5000 mobiles $15000
Task Force Tip Nozzles $1300 per nozzle - five units
Thermal Imager Replacement/Addition for squirt $6000
EMS Training Mannequin $7000
Update station security camera system $5000
Replacement PPE, $500 per structural helmet, $5000 for full bunker gear, $100 per wildland helmet, $400 boots, $550 wildland pant and coat, $100 for gloves, and $700 for wildland shelters.
