Request: $50,000
BEAM is seeking $50,000 toward two months of continued programming following displacement from Silver Rail Elementary after the October 15 shooting. Our children need familiar faces, trusted relationships and opportunities to learn, play and begin to heal together.
Funding would help retain four current staff, add part-time support as resources allow, secure accessible temporary space, and cover supplies and transportation. Programming remains free for families through November.
Donated spaces are helping us gather now, but a consistent location remains a need. We are also expanding daytime support for children who do not feel ready to return to school, contingent on appropriate space, staffing and necessary approvals.
