Following the tragedy at Silver Rail Elementary School, Healing Reins immediately mobilized our clinical team and therapeutic resources to support our community. We are now preparing for the growing, long-term need for trauma-informed mental health services. High Desert Education Service District, a newly formed Silver Rail parent group, Bend Police Department first responders, and trauma care staff from St. Charles are among those seeking our support.
We are requesting funding to provide free, accessible individual and group mental health services, equine-assisted therapy, and therapeutic experiences with horses and nature. With trained professionals, established programs, and facilities already in place, Healing Reins is positioned to provide immediate assistance and consistent, compassionate care throughout our community's recovery.
